Versace Skull & Crossbones Silk Scarf

I don't know what Versace had in mind with this one, but every time I look at it I see the ceiling of the Capuchin Crypt in Rome. Beneath the church of Santa Maria della Concezione dei Cappuccini, the friars arranged the bones of thousands of their dead into chapels, and in the Crypt of the Three Skeletons a small skeleton holds a scythe and a set of scales inside an oval of bones.

Here the oval is gold baroque scrollwork and garlands of roses, and the skull and crossbones sit at the center like a memento mori that wandered into a palace. It's new and never used, with the Versace NFC authenticity tag still attached, and I've checked it.
